Colwyn Bay

Just 20 minutes from the cottage are the clean sands of Colwyn Bay; a delight for every child who just wants to get busy with bucket and spade.  Stretching from Old Colwyn in the east through Colwyn and onto Rhos-on-Sea in the west this long beach affords the opportunity to go fishing, sailing or for the more adventurous, jet-skiing out in the bay.

Its’ long promenade encourages gentle exercise in the form of a leisurely stroll whilst calling in at the various cafes en route or for the more energetic there is use of the cycle track from Old Colwyn to Rhos, whilst enjoying fresh air and the views out to sea.

Whilst in Colwyn Bay don't forget to visit the Welsh Mountain zoo; so much to entertain adults & children alike, with rare and endangered  species from the UK and across the world.  As a special treat you can even become a zoo keeper for a day.  Is your preference penguins, sealions or giraffes - the choice is yours.

The shopping areas of Rhos and Colwyn are enough to satisfy everybody's needs and with several swimming pools, tennis courts, golf courses and bowling greens, enough diversity to keep all the family happy.
