Fantastic Cottage In North Wales
By David Pseja
Stayed 01-Jul-2017
This cottage was one of the highlights of our trip to Wales. The owners have thought of everything to make for a cozy, enjoyable stay--they were there to greet us warmly. The view of the sea from the porch and bedroom is a real treat, as are the garden and view of the mountain behind. The cottage slept our family of 4 very comfortably, and was in the perfect location to explore all of north Wales. We would highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again if our travels take us to Wales.

Peace and Tranquility

We spent 5 nights at Warrandyte Cottage to relax at the end of a very busy family visit to North Wales. Christine and Andrew met all of our needs with friendly responsive support when we needed it. The Cottage is fully equipped with everything a family needs from the kitchen, washing machine through to garden amenities. There is also an extensive collection of local guides, board games and dvd's. Internet connectivity and TV programming is great. This is a great place to be based for Snowdonia as you can access the A55 in a matter of minutes to access Llanberis, Ogwen or Anglesey yet saunter down to the beach (go at low tide) in 10 minutes or stroll into Penmaenmawr for supplies if you do not feel like driving. There are great walks from the cottage up Foel Lus (right behind) or up the Sychnant Pass to Conway Mountain or the Welsh Coastal Path. The views from the top are wonderful especially in dawn or dusk light. We plan to use this cottage for future visits to this area.
My Response
Many thanks for such glowing words of praise; we love sharing our perfect spot with guests and are delighted to know we meet your expectations. How incredibly lucky we are to have this stunning peaceful valley all around but yet be such a short distance from adventure, theme parks - everything that anyone could wish for yet so far away from the rush of life. We look forward to meeting again soon. Best wishes Christine & Andrew

The perfect getaway!

This property was as near perfect as we have found. Having stayed in many holiday cottages over the years we have become quite expert in finding fault! Hard to find any fault here. It was spotless, extremely well equipped, with matching crockery, utensils etc., beautifully furnished with comfortable seating. In fact like living in a home rather than a holiday cottage. Location is exceptional with walks right on the doorstep, none better than the walk from the back garden up onto the hill behind the cottage. With Conwy only a few minutes drive away, also Anglesey, Snowdonia, need I go on! Contact with Andrew & Christine has been very easy & friendly with nothing too much trouble. They seem to have pitched everything just right. Thank you both so much. A real find. Andrew & Anne

The cottage is seamless combination of modern comforts and historical accents. It retains its centuries old soul that speaks to you through its fireplace, beamed ceilings and carefully selected items throughout the house. It has lovely back garden where you can enjoy your breakfast with a view to the mountains and a trail just behind the gate that will take you there. The owners are brilliant and attentive hosts that just adds to the charm of this place.

Thank you again,
Inga

Our family of two adults and two children stayed here in August 2016. Warrendyte Cottage is very warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. Christine and Andrew are the very friendly owners who have created a home from home place to stay with attention to all ages. The beds are comfortable, the towels are very good quality and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need.Should you wish to light the wood burner, wood is provided also. If you stay at Warrendyte cottage you will be in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park with an abundance of things to do and places to visit from blue flag beaches, historic towns, fantastic walks and for the adrenaline seekers Zip World is on hand. Conwy town is a stunning 10 minute drive away through the Sychnant Pass. The town has a castle, good restaurants, a fantastic butchers and ice cream parlour so what more could you need. To sum up the cottage is fantastic and the location is perfect with mountains and beautiful beaches. Enjoy.
My Response
Many thanks for your great review f olks, we so enjoyed having you stay. We believe Dwygyfylchi to be the most delightful & convenient village in North Wales; easy access to all the heritage sites, quaint towns and blue flagged beaches, stunning scenery but only a short drive for adrenaline junkies like yourselves. I know we're biased but so glad you felt the same and took away happy memories of your time in Wales. Once again, thank you for choosing to stay at Warrandyte Cottage, it was lovely to meet you all. Our very best wishes Christine & Andrew
